Police forces are an integral part of our modern society and they handle many very important responsibilities to keep the citizens safe and secured. They sometimes even have to do many duties which might pose as a risk for them. Police forces are the keeper of the laws and they have to maintain a proper order and keep an eye on the fact that no law is getting broken. The main function of the police department is deviance control which is mainly controlling and keeping track of the laws and community values. There are people in a community who break laws and it is the main duty of the police to protect them from such people as laws are there for certain reasons and breaking the laws can leave negative impacts on people.
